CERTIFIED CAMPUSES
WWF-CANADA LIVING CAMPUS CERTIFICATION
Learn more about how your institution can achieve WWF-Canada’s campus certification.
To achieve our campus certification and be recognized as a WWF-Canada Living Campus, your campus must:
- Be a WWF-Canada Campus Partner
- Successfully implement your Annual Action Plan, meeting partnership requirements
- Report on your annual activities and achievements and request certification status through the Annual Final Report at the end of June
Campus Partners achieving certification status will be recognized as a WWF-Canada Living Campus and will hold their certification status the following school year. Your achievements will be celebrated on WWF-Canada communications channels, and you will be provided with a certification badge and press kit to celebrate the certification on your own channels.
WWF-Canada introduced its Living Campus certification in 2023 to recognize the efforts of educational institutions in fostering sustainability and environmental stewardship on campus. The nine certified campuses implemented a range of conservation and engagement activities throughout the 2023-2024 academic year to successfully meet the rigorous criteria set by WWF-Canada.
